Terms of Service
Last updated: July 23, 2026
1. Who we are, and who this agreement is with
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Workhorse Financials LLC ("Workhorse," "we," "us," or "our"), operating Workhorse Stable Manager (the "Service"), a subscription application for tracking horse and barn animal care, records, and related costs.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. Who can use this
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. If you're using the Service on behalf of a barn, farm, or business, you're confirming you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. What the Service does — and doesn't do
Workhorse Stable Manager is a record-keeping and reminder tool. It helps you track feeding schedules, veterinary and farrier history, vaccination and Coggins expiration dates, costs, documents, and similar information, and it can send you reminders based on dates you enter.
The Service is not veterinary, medical, legal, or financial advice. Reminders and expiration warnings are based on the dates and information you provide — we don't independently verify them, and a missed, late, delayed, or inaccurate reminder doesn't relieve you of responsibility for your animals' care or your compliance with show, boarding, transport, or other requirements (like a valid Coggins). Always confirm critical dates and requirements directly with your vet and the relevant organization or venue.
5. Subscription, pricing, and billing
- The core plan is $15/month or $150/year, covering up to 5 horses. Each additional horse beyond 5 is billed at $2.50/month (or the equivalent prorated annual amount).
- New accounts get a 14-day free trial. No payment card is required to start the trial.
- If you don't subscribe before the trial ends, your account becomes read-only: your existing data stays intact and viewable, but you can't add or edit anything until you subscribe.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store your full card number — see our Privacy Policy for details on what we do store.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled beforehand.
- Cancellation: you can cancel anytime from your account. You keep full access through the end of the period you've already paid for, after which the account becomes read-only (your data isn't deleted).
- Refunds: All payments are final. We don't offer refunds, except where required by law.
- We may change pricing going forward; we'll give notice before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.
6. Optional modules
Additional modules (currently in development — see our site for the current list) may be offered as paid add-ons in the future, billed separately from the core plan. These Terms will apply to any add-on module unless we provide additional terms specific to that module at the time it launches.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you upload or enter — horse and pet records, photos, documents (like Coggins and health certificates), notes, and so on ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant us a license to host, store, display, and process it solely as needed to operate the Service for you (for example, showing your horse's records back to you, or generating a horse sitter link).
You're responsible for making sure you have the right to upload whatever you upload, and that it doesn't violate anyone else's rights or any law.
8. The horse sitter link feature
The Service lets you generate a time-limited shareable link that gives a person you choose (a "sitter") temporary, read-only access to specific care information you've selected — feeding, medication, turnout instructions, and a phone number for reaching you — without requiring the sitter to create an account.
You control this feature and are responsible for who you share the link with. Anyone with the link can view the information it exposes until the link expires or you turn it off. Don't share it with anyone you wouldn't want to see that information, and turn a link off as soon as it's no longer needed.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything illegal, or to store or share content you don't have the right to share
- Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or use it to build a competing product
- Use the horse sitter link feature to share data with someone in a way that violates another person's privacy or safety
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Termination
You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription anytime. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or if required by law. If we terminate your account for reasons other than a Terms violation, we'll give reasonable notice and an opportunity to export Your Content first where practical.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Workhorse and its officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to costs or losses related to missed reminders, expired documents, veterinary outcomes, or lapsed show or boarding eligibility. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
[This section in particular should be reviewed and calibrated by an attorney familiar with your risk profile and jurisdiction.]
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Marion County, Florida, unless otherwise required by law.
